
Mrs. Teresa Sallee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. She achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during her student teaching and received honorable mention as a “Student Teacher of Distinction” in an annual statewide competition hosted by the Michigan Association of Teacher Educators.
Mrs. Sallee has a passion for ministry and community service. She organized and led a decade-long outreach ministry serving approximately 5,000 underprivileged children and youth in the Downriver suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. Additionally, she has served as a lead children’s pastor, directed summer youth camps, and launched and directed multiple childcare centers.
Mrs. Sallee joined St. Joe’s Catholic School in 2020, initially serving as the preschool teacher and K-4 PE teacher. She currently teaches the 1st and 2nd grades, holding a current teaching license for PreK-5th grades. She finds great joy in helping her young students build a strong foundation in their ABCs and 123s.
In addition to her role as an educator, Mrs. Sallee is also an entrepreneur. She enjoys riding four-wheelers, camping, planning, organizing, and cheering for her favorite football team. Go Blue!
