She was born in Delaware, Ohio, and attended St. Mary Catholic School before moving to Gahanna, where she attended St. Matthew Catholic School. A 2002 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School, she studied at Ohio Dominican University before earning a degree in Equine Business and Facility Management from Otterbein University.
She and her husband, John, live in rural Morrow County with their two daughters, Lilly and Isabel, on a small farm filled with beloved animals. She began volunteering at St. Joseph School in 2019 and joined the staff in 2023. She currently serves as an Intervention Specialist Aide, Classroom Aide, and K–4 Gym Teacher, where she enjoys encouraging students to see that a healthy lifestyle can be fun. She is also actively involved in school fundraisers, including serving as Co-Chair of the annual Designer Purse B.I.N.G.O.
