Mrs. Robin Adams graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She has taught at St. Joseph Catholic School since the 1988-1989 school year, starting in the fourth grade classroom. She has shifted assignments over the years, including teaching technology for preschool – 8th grade and Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts for grades 5 – 8. She wants her students to reach their full potential, so she works with each student according to his/her abilities to help them understand concepts and promote higher level thinking skills in Math, Reading, and Writing. Every student is held accountable for their learning success.
She is active in her church, Mt. Hope Lutheran where she distributes communion, is a reader, serves on the church council, and manages the church finances as the treasurer. She helps organize the annual Corn Roast stand, sponsored by Mt. Hope, during the Shiloh Ox Roast each summer. She also volunteers with her parents at the Shelby First Lutheran Food Pantry.
She is married to James Adams and has two children who graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School: Kristen (2007) and Ben (2020). Her hobbies include reading, solving word and logic puzzles, and working in the flower beds.
