I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. I worked at a computer software company in Columbus for 16 years as a programmer, analyst and in management, a substitute teacher for preschool through high school for 13 years, and now the principal for St. Joseph Catholic School since 2022. I graduated High School from Buckeye Central, New Washington. I was born and raised Catholic and attended St. Bernards Catholic School through 8th grade. I grew up attending Mother of Sorrows, North Auburn.
I moved to the Galion area (Iberia) in 2006 with my husband, Ken, and our children. We were married in 1994 and our children, Alex and Maggie, were born in 2002 and 2003, respectively.
As a St. Joseph parish volunteer, I’ve taught PSR (Parish School of Religion) 1st Grade and then 2nd Grade starting in 2009 and have coordinated the PSR program since 2018. I’m a Eucharistic Minister at Mass. I’m a member of PST (Parish Service Team) for the twinned parishes of Galion St. Joseph and Bucyrus Holy Trinity.
In my free time, I enjoy time with my family at home, vacations to the ocean, the lake or the mountains. I like working in my yard, playing sports and video games and listening to country music.
As a Catholic School principal, I no longer have a job. I have a ministry, which allows me to share my Catholic faith with children and adults. I love that I’m involved with my parish and feel fulfillment in my life.
