What is Eucharistic Adoration?
Eucharistic Adoration is a beautiful Catholic tradition where we spend quiet, reverent time in the presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. It is a moment to pause, reflect, pray, and listen to God in the stillness of our hearts.
The Eucharist is placed in a special vessel called a monstrance, allowing us to see and worship Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
When Students Attend Adoration
Students at St. Joseph Catholic School participate in Eucharistic Adoration once a month, typically on the first Thursday.
- Younger students may participate for 10–15 minutes
- Older students may remain in adoration for up to an hour
- During this time, students are guided in quiet prayer, reflection, and connecting with Jesus present in the Eucharist
Parish Adoration Schedule
We encourage families to take part in Adoration outside of school time as well. Here’s the normal schedule at our twinned parishes:
- St. Joseph Catholic Church – First Thursday of each month
- Holy Trinity Catholic Church – First Friday of each month
